Over the 2014-2018 time frame, Italian research teams have been involved in more than 20 funded projects supported by ECRIN with a total budget of about 5,5M€ allocated to Italian investigators and CTU/CROs included in the ItaCRIN Network.

ItaCRIN support can be provided for any European call for multinational clinical research.Currently, the majority of projects in which Italian research teams are involved have been funded by Horizon 2020 (H2020). Other fruitful sources of fundings have been the Innovative Medicines Initiatives (IMI) and the ERA-NET programs (i.e. E-Rare, the ERA-net for research programmes on rare diseases).
